Michigan Van-Car Accident

There was a story in the paper yesterday about a West Michigan car accident. The auto accident took place on Sunday, June 13th, in the afternoon hours. According to police, a car and a van filled with five people crashed at the intersection of Quincy Street and 72nd Avenue in Zeeland Township. All occupants of the van suffer injuries, including a 63-year-old woman who suffers serious head injuries due to the accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this accident and hope all of the individuals injured recover from the car accident.

Our Lansing car accident lawyers advise car accident victims of their legal rights. For this type of  auto/van accident in Michigan, the injured individuals can submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits. No-Fault benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured parties can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.

In addition, the car accident injury victims may also have claims for personal injuries against the driver if determined to be at fault. The insurance company for the negligent driver typically pays a settlement for this type of case. In this lawsuit, the injured victims can claim damages and compensation for the injuries suffered in the accident.
