Mason County Drunk Driving Accident

While listening to the radio over the weekend, I heard about a tragic Mason County Drunk Driving Accident  on US-131. According to the Mason County Sheriff, a 20-year-old Muskegon man allegedly lost control of his vehicle crashed at the end of the west bound on-ramp while intoxicated.  A female passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries including a possible broken arm and neck injuries. The driver had minor injuries and was taken into custody.

I  am very sorry to hear about this auto accident and wish the injured woman the fullest and speediest recovery possible.  I hope that both she comes out of this with no permanent harm.

Genoa Township Car Accident

I read in the paper today about a tragic Genoa Township Car Accident on Grand River Avenue near Pless the other day. According to Michigan State Police, a 21-year-old Howell man allegedly collided with another car, spinning off the road and into a day care center. The State Police preliminary investigation indicates that the Howell man did not see a GMC Envoy travelling towards him as he attempted to make a left turn.

Noone in the day care was hurt but the Howell man is in critical condition at University of Michigan Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the GMC Envoy was taken to the hospital and is listed in good condition. No word on any injuries he may have sustained. State Police continue to investigate this accident.

I am very sorry to hear about his tragic car accident and wish all the injured parties a speedy and full recovery.
